I think this is the first time I'm seeing Amos in action! Look at him zooming by so gracefully, he has this determined look in his eyes like he's training to beat Naomi's land bun-speed record!
I'm not sure if Naomi is watching, she might be busy eating hay from the Christmas tree hut (which is so cool!) to be worried about her record being broken!
Hi Tarosagi! The little fella is a bun on a mission with a need for speed! Naomi is making a pit stop to grab a snack before getting back to the races.
Aww, thanks! They really love using it as a hay trough, though neither has attempted to hop into it yet. I found it here: https://www.petsmart.com/cat/beds-and-furniture/covered-beds/merry-and-bright-xmas-tree-bed-92578.html It was cheaper when I got it in November and I found it in one of their end of aisle bins. I re-did the star on top with some felt I had so that the star was on the front and back of the tree.
I love his fur coloring, it really makes him look like a wild hare in this photo. I was so focused in Amos stretched leggies and feetsies that I didn't notice Naomi standing there looking amazed!
Hi Mónica! He really does! I'm constantly amazed at how many different patterns show up in his fur due to the banding pattern on each hair. It's like, "Oh, look--you have little black stripes between each toe!" XD
Naomi is realizing she has some stiff competition for breaking the land-speed record.
