Amos tried to have a midnight snack by pulling the pillow case the treats were on into his cage. Basically, he was trying to knock one of the treat bags over so he could pull it through the bars.
The only thing he regrets is that the banana chip container won't fit between the bars (not for lack of trying).
The little dude is sneaky smart and highly food-motivated!
Oh, I can relate to Amos' shenanigans. We have cats. 3 to be precise. For a while, we kept their midday kibble on top of our fridge. Until one night, one of them scaled the fridge to knock the bag down for the crowd to enjoy! Now one climbs up there and sits above the cabinets staring at us like "where'd you hide it?" Kibble now lives in a storage bench.

I'm honestly amazed that neither of the bunnies have tried to hop up on the tops of their cages to try to get the treats during playtime. Then again, that's the quick way to getting picked up, so that's a pretty big shenanigan deterrent!
He is a devilish fella, isn't he? He looks like he knows he would probably get away with it because he is too cute. Little dude knows how to weaponize his cuteness!

Amos is so smart, it must've been as exhilarating as trying to grab a plushy from the claw machine game, he came so close to winning the big prize and having those treats fall into his cage!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad the game is a little rigged since some of those treat containers are a little to big for the spaces in the cage which is why he looks so cross in that second photo!
