It's good to see Simon enjoying their new toy.  He's usually pretty uncertain about anything new, but he was the first to hop in and explore it--a definite first for him!

River reassures Mr. Giraffe that he's still loved even though they got a new toy for their birthday.  Somehow, I foresee Simon and River taking him on a grand tunnel adventure in the near future.

I may or may not have forgotten how to hop down from the couch.  I like to keep you humans guessing.

The bunnies sensed something strange was afoot, but the chance to play on the steps and explore upstairs was too great of a temptation to pass up.  They were bamboozled into a nail clipping.

How can this be?!

River always looks like she's going through some existential crisis when she tuckers herself out but still has lots of playing and exploring she wants to do.  The need for nap-time can really cramp a bunny's style!  Meanwhile, Simon has embraced his inner laziness and achieved nap nirvana.

Looks like we have some gawker's block causing a bit of a backup on the bun-oh-one just past the cuddle cube exit.  There are also unconfirmed reports that the floor is made of lava, so expect major delays.

Hoppy Thanksgiving!

Peek-a-busted!

I thought I was playing peek-a-boo with Simon until I noticed the guilty face and scanned for River's whereabouts.  Target acquired in the top right corner...trying to get behind the couch.

Why's it always me?

I think you should be asking what Simon is up to instead of

what I'm doing to your shoes.

River forgets that Simon is not good at distractions because he will look worried and give the plan away before any mischief can be managed.

Mistakes were made.

River:  What have I done?!  This is awful!

Simon:  For the record, I was here first.

Simon and River protest the end of playtime by trying to prevent me from folding the last purple towel.  Sadly, dinner waits for no bun and it isn't going to make itself.
(Hmm.  I just realized that could go either way.  No, we’re not eating the bunnies.  Guess I could’ve worded that better.)

River's little mouth agape just cracks me up.  So much curiosity in such a little bun!

A bunny bamboozle.

Simon wonders what black magic is causing the oats to be so close and yet he can't taste them.  Meanwhile, River is concerned that Simon's antics will impact breakfast time.

Just be kind.

With all of the violence we hear about almost daily, it's important to not lose sight that we can make this world a better place by being kind to those around us.  Petty differences (like how much melanin happens to be in our skin, where we come from, what our personal politics are, or what religion we practice or choose not to) really don't matter a bit if your aim is to be a good person by being kind to everyone you meet.  All I ask is for everyone reading this to please do something kind today.

Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of those who lost their lives in the shootings in Thornton, Colorado and Sutherland Springs, Texas.  We wish the injured a full and quick recovery and want to thank the first responders and everyone who helped others in their time of greatest need.
