Christmas 2020!

Like many of you, this is as close to the rest of our families as we can get this year.  Not quite what we had envisioned, but at least we have technology like phones, Zoom meetings, and the like to help us muddle through!

I know it's not the Thanksgiving we wanted this year, but just think how awesome it'll be when we can actually get together and celebrate in person once it's safe to do so.  The hugs will be epic!

Simon and River appear to be channeling the spirit of the American people while Mr. Giraffe is like the rest of the world looking on.  Whatever path we go down, there's going to be a long road ahead of us to find some semblance of unity again.

It turns out that birthday candles take much longer to burn down than you'd think.  I didn't trust my ability to make a clean cut and have it still stay upright inside the pumpkin.
