After yesterday's shenanigans, Simon is concerned that River will try to steal the cuddle cube too.

Hoppy St. Patrick's Day!

I had good intentions of doing a St. Patty's Day-themed post but events transpired.

We got the bunnies new litter boxes tonight and River decided it would be a good idea to hop into Simon's cage, steal some pellets and then try to claim his brand new toilet for her own.  Understandably, Simon was quite offended by this home invasion and was fixin' to start a fight.  So, to keep the peace both bunnies were grounded for the evening and you guys get a pic of...whatever this is.  Oh, and this too: 🍀  Sorry.

Pawsible deniability.

You can't prove that I wasn't just standing here minding my own business.

Daylight saving time is dumb.

Simon rejects the time change and will put off starting the day until he's better rested.  Meanwhile, River contemplates where the hour goes when we 'spring forward' and why humans insist on this inferior method of time travel twice a year.

Super secret bunny meeting.

Simon and River are putting their heads together to figure out how to thwart my second cage cleaning of the week.  Probably trying to figure out the right ratio of shenanigans and drama to make it satisfying.

Drama flop: Part 2!

On cage cleaning day, River is more focused on me stealing her food dish that still has pellets in it.  Best to use it as a pillow because I'd totally never return it once the cleaning was done. [sigh]

Seriously though, she wasn't even eating them before she rushed over to do this!

This is Simon sulking because I'm cleaning his cage.  I had to slide him over to clean that corner because he was still doing his peaceful protest.

He only got up to dramatically flop onto his nicely folded purple towel.  Well, at least he has a softer place to sulk now.  Oh, bunnies!

Good morning!

Every morning I'm greeted by two sweet little buns waiting to give me a nose-bonk and get their noogies and a treat.  They haven't figured out that I take turns with who I say hello to first, so they bite the cage to get my attention.

It's too early.

Simon's purple towel pillow is just too comfy to get up from this morning.  My guess is that the little fella pulled double sentry duty last night.  Meanwhile, River looks scandalized that he's passing up on perfectly good playtime for more napping!
