I glanced over to see Mr. Giraffe looking guilty and River in seclusion giving him bunny butt.

Mondays are bananas!

That's why after River finished her dessert and had a bit of breakfast, she promptly took a nap.  Best to ease into a Monday if you can!

My front paws were fine and now they're all wet and smell like soap!  Little human better make with the apple chips after this or I'm gonna pee in her shoes.

One day River will learn not to stand in her food.  Today was not that day.

River is living it up in her golden years!  And before you ask, yes, she did indeed have dessert first.

Kudos to the mirror wall!  It has definitely helped me catch just the right angle for bunny cuteness.

Sore loser.

River is considering a rule change for the 'get low, get kisses' game.  She attempted to claim a 3-way tie, but it's hard to deny that Mr. Giraffe has clearly won this round, though Scoots McGee is a close second.

Just loafing around.

Judging by how compact this little bun loaf is, I'd say that Monday needs to be postponed until a certain munchkin is better rested.

Throwback Thursday!

These pics were taken March 10, 2012 (the day we brought Simon and River home).  Simon was trying his best to protect River from these strange new humans and the wide world beyond the travel cage by blocking the exit.  We learned that River's patience lasts a grand total of 10 minutes, when she climbed over her big brother to go exploring.

A half hour of exploring later, River decided to circle back to check on Simon to see if he was ever going to come out and play.

It was cute--River was purring up a storm loving all of the attention.  I glanced over a short while later and found her having a nice nap with her buddies.

River was very proud of her discovery that her 'table' and food could be dragged wherever she wanted them simply by yanking on the towels that line her cage floor.  I'm sure she'll put this knowledge to good use.

Throwback Thursday!

This was taken 2 days after we brought the little munchkins home in March of 2012.  Simon had spotted the baggie of pellets that was sent home with them and tried his hardest to reach them.  It was our first glimpse at how highly food-motivated the little fella was!

River is gettin' low and gettin' kisses.  They're still figuring out the logistics of adequate bunny kiss dispersal given their size difference, but they're making it work!

Okay, I laughed hard when I stumbled across this pic!  River is all up in big human's business trying to micromanage how her cage is cleaned.  Meanwhile, Simon is chuggin' a lug on his water bottle to make sure that we humans have job security in the litter box emptying department.
