Well Simon can open doors now so maybe he was able to open a secret portal inside the lion cube to a lion cube of another bunny? A secret bunny light speed transportation system maybe?!

Ooh, maybe he opened a bunny tunnel portal to a different timeline. Even though our current situation is not ideal by a long shot, I'm sure things could be far worse and maybe that's what he caught a glimpse of. I'm sure he'll confer with Mr. Giraffe, who is wise in such things!
