We've been having a bit of a heat wave here for the past week, so Amos and Naomi have been loving their own personal air conditioners!
**NOTE: Sorry, Google is being dumb again with my image uploads and cookie settings. They lack the ability to recognize I've jumped through the hoops they wanted me to so it'll allow me to upload images like normal. My work around may not be visible to you or look weird (if I remember correctly, viewing it on a desktop should work, mobile may be wonky). I'll be sure to update the post and upload the images properly once they get their computer glitch(s) sorted.**

UPDATE: Yay--I got the image issue fixed as of 6-27-24 12:46pm!
Nothing like a refreshing drink to cool off in the middle of a heatwave! I think both buns would argue that they are already the coolest rabbits on earth, so heat isn't really a problem but they'll let that slide.

They both look really comfy and it looks like Naomi is going to be the dramatic flop artist, whereas Amos is trying to avoid overheating by laying completely still and not exerting himself!

ReplyDeleteYup! They've been chugging the water and loving the romaine and celery fresh from the 'fridge. Lol--they know they're cute and will use it to their full advantage! ;)
I can only guess they're updating something and it really messes up the user interfaces in blogger. I'll have to look back through and see when the last time they did it was to see if there's any pattern to it. I'm just glad that it seems to have been sorted a lot more quickly than last time!

Yeah, I've been keeping a bunch of water bottles frozen so I can change them out frequently and they won't be without one. I'm glad that they don't try to chew through them and seem to realize they're there to help instead of be a plaything.
Naomi really is a little drama queen! If she gets frustrated with my bunny proofing (I have cardboard strategically placed so she can't get between the cages or easily hop on top of Amos' cage...you know, with all the bars her feet can fall through), she'll hop back into her cage and drama flop/sulk. She is stubborn enough to stay there if she can't do what she wants, so it's a self-imposed ending of playtime.
Amos really loves to snuggle the frozen water bottle! I'm just waiting for him to realize he can flop over it for the ultimate in chilly goodness. XD
