I hope the vet visit went well and that they weren't too scared! That vaccine is crucial for a bun, so hopefully they could at least be appeased with some treats afterwards!
Hi Mónica and Tarosagi! The little munchkins had quite an adventure today! We learned that Amos is okay with car rides and Naomi is not. We also learned that Naomi is okay with a vet exam/weighing and Amos is not. Overall, the vet visit went well and they were both exploring the exam room after getting their exams and vaccine, so it can't have been too traumatic of an experience.
Once we got home, both ate some romaine, so that was good (I had given them some along with their pellets this morning before their appointment just to make sure they had some fiber and liquids in their systems). Naomi is eating well, Amos doesn't have much of an appetite but I managed to get him to eat some of his alfalfa pellets just before this reply, so hopefully that will help him realize he's hungry. I keep offering fresh veggies and cleaned both of their litter boxes out to help entice them to keep eating so they can re-claim their cages.
Fingers crossed that they'll both be feeling 100% tomorrow! :)
This is one of the before and after comparison pics. He looks so hoppy there, and so oblivious about what's coming! I hope it wasn't scary for them.
