Those wood chips were under his litter box to catch any mistakes while potty training. Apparently, the little dude's epic overnight bunstruction project required ALL of the wood chips to be re-located to the center of his cage.
He was very proud of himself and startled me by hopping over and licking my nose in greeting (he's never done that before). How could I possibly scold him after that?! Amos is sneaky smart!
Big fan of his interior design choices, maybe he is looking for something cozy like a burrow? Give him a little house he can chew and destroy and squish his way in! This dude has potential!

ReplyDeleteThat is some very impressive bunstruction, look at how he moved all the wood chips out of the way and even buried himself under his litter box! He has a great career ahead of him in creating lots of bunstruction art and as a hide and seek champion!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I was thinking the same and ended up giving him Naomi's cardboard box hide (that she outgrew) since Amos managed to trash his. It seems to do the trick so long as he doesn't have too much fun with it and flip it over into a make-shift boat. ;)
