The little fella is always polite. He really does seem to understand 'please' and 'thank you' when I ask him to move over a bit while I'm cleaning his cage (he always has to be in/around it whenever I'm cleaning--bit of a micro-manager about it I guess). :)
I should also note that they both are pretty good at knowing what I'm doing and will either try to 'help' or at least scoot out of the way when I come to clean the area that they're hanging out in (if they're not attempting to play with the hay and litter bags or trying to commandeer the litter scoop because it's blue).

Well, the going rate is a few noogies and a 'Thank you very much!' when he scoots over to let me clean where he was sitting/flopped. :)
