River is looking at me like I just stole the sunbeam she was playing in.
"Did you take my sunshine away?"
Who could resist that sweet little face? I may not be able to move clouds but I can certainly do the next best thing and flip on some lights. Little human to the rescue!
She looks so offended, as if you had committed the ultimate betrayal. Sooner or later someone will have to explain to the bunnies that's not how clouds work.
You guys are so right and I lol'd at the "Bunnies and"--a missed opportunity. She really took it personally that the sun just disappeared like that. It's a good thing that she was easily placated with me turning lamps on and a couple of treats (or maybe that's just what she wanted me to think)! We'll hope she has a short memory of this incident or the houseplants are going to lose their light source. :)
