A captive audience.

River looks all fluffy and innocent here, but make no mistake--she has my hand pinned under her chin with a surprising amount of strength for such a tiny bunny.  This is her not so subtle request for thumb noogies!

[sigh]  Well, at least the force-feeding gave her some ammo, so that's nice.  Naturally, I didn't know this was her bunny shunning parting shot until she flicky-footed her way back into her cage.

Simon is mildly perplexed by River trying to burrow under him for snuggles.

Hmph--The indignity!

As soon as I finish drying myself off, I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to the complaint department about you two!

Simon was not a happy camper about being bun-handled into smelling all nice and flowery again.  He especially didn't like being passed off to big human like a furry football so I could make sure the little dude was pristine.

B-oops!

I had to clean River up a bit and she was so angry/impatient to get back into her cage that she completely thumped her way past poor Mr. Giraffe just standing there in the middle of the living room.  I couldn't just leave him there without a 'How do you do?', so I brought him over to River for an apologetic nose-boop.

Okay, Mr. Giraffe Esq., exactly how much trouble am I in for the banana chip container shenanigans?  You have lots of books, so you must know of some way to get me off the hook for this.  I refuse to face the consequences of my actions!

Yeah, River totally wasn't trying to chew through the banana chip container just now.  Just look at that innocent little face so very far away from the slobbered on plastic!

Simon and River had to admit that they're getting a bit too old to party like Scoots McGee, but they had fun and that's what counts!

Either the bunnies need a refresher on how to play hide-and-seek or their cloaking shields failed to activate.

Instead of hopping into the cube, River was like, "Nah, I'm good--I'll just use this as a chin rest!"

River:  Something smells delightful!  That mug has a bunny on it, so whatever's in it belongs to me!

Simon:  I'm gonna eat the rest of this alfalfa while everyone else is distracted by River trying to dunk her face in the little human's coffee.

River was really lovin' the alfalfa hay while Simon was patiently waiting his turn totally sleeping in.  (You know the little fella would've gotten into a shoving match over it if he were awake right now.)

It's Monday already?!

Poor Simon has that 1,000-yard stare like he's seen some things and the week has barely begun.  Little fella is gonna need some serious treats and noogies to get through this one!

Yay--freedom!

Finally, the last of the nasty storms have passed our area and we were lucky enough to keep power and not have any issues!  I caught River thanking Mr. Giraffe for all of his help during the tornado warnings before she hopped out of our make-shift shelter.
