He made a break for it just before the humans' bedtime.  Not gonna lie, we really do take full advantage of Simon's inability to cross wooden floors!

Slippery floors.
You know that he wants to walk on them so badly, but he just can't do it.  He hits reverse as soon as his front feet start to slide.  I took pity on him and tried to expand his world a bit...
