Simon and River are enjoying New Year's Eve like many around the world--with beer...
And maybe some hard liquor thrown in for good measure. But what the bunnies would really like to show you is...
The dangers of hopping under the influence. Remember boys and girls, hop sober or get pulled over!
Wishing you all a very happy and safe New Year!

It's all your fault!
I caught Simon staring down his toy dump truck as if it had committed some deep personal wrong to him. Granted, he tripped over it earlier and caused it to lose its cargo, but still! Our furry little drama queen.
**Hey guys, I'm going to change things up a bit and start scheduling my posts to go at midnight so you can see the post first thing in the morning (if you want). The only time it should be a different time is when I post something with a video--YouTube is funny in that I can't set when the video will appear.
I'm also going to start posting Monday through Friday. Five days of bunnies is better than four, right?

Our bunnies are oat junkies.
The bunnies took it upon themselves to strip the oat container of its label. I think they figured that the picture of oats on it would taste like actual oats...
They discovered that the photo was but a poor imitation of oat yumminess. River looks a bit derpy in this pic while Simon looks personally insulted by this oat trickery.
He decided to go directly to the source and attempt to eat the lid off of the oat container. This resulted in the container being placed out of reach and a scolding that plastic isn't good for bunnies...
Not to be deterred, he decided to knock the oat scoop onto the ground and lick it clean of any possible oat residue that ever dreamed of being on there.
River decided this was a great idea! Simon is patiently waiting for seconds.
The oat scoop, being thoroughly coated in bunny hork, has now taken on a reflective sheen. River appears to be scolding me for not giving them actual oats when it was clear that they wanted some. Simon just looks depressed that he didn't get a second chance to lick the oat scoop.
Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you have a great weekend! We'll be back on Monday.

A very bunny Christmas.
Simon and River find their presents under the tree on Christmas morning! Hooray presents!!!
Trying to figure out how the tree works. They were quite taken with the rotating tree and the changing fiber optic light display.
Aaand back to presents. Simon had a few technical difficulties with his and ended up chasing his across the carpet.
(If you're curious what I gave them, I ended up splitting a toilet paper roll in half and stuffing a Timothy hay cube surrounded by Timothy hay into it. It turned out to be a fun little toy/treat for them.)
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and an awesome December 25th if you don't happen to celebrate it!

A slight miscommunication.
Simon's holiday snacking has gotten a bit out of control and is now interfering with River's plans. Well, at least he's enjoying himself!

The many uses of bunny ears.
We've learned from watching Simon and River that bunny ears can be used for more than just hearing. Here, we have Simon using them to slow his rate of descent from a binky.River is using her ears as a parachute in this pic.
They're used for balance while turning at a high rate of speed.
And last, but not least, bunny ears can be used as a built-in collision avoidance device.
Happy Monday!
Simon has that "What just happened?" look about him.
He's utterly shocked and amazed with the discovery that if he places all of his weight on one edge of his litter box, it will flip over on him and fling the contents everywhere.
I still get noogies though, right?
No. Toilet buns don't get noogies.
