Seeing Naomi do a huge binky yesterday had me grinning like an idiot. It warms my heart to see her happy!
In other good news, we managed to find a little boy bunny who is in need of a good home. Big human, Naomi, and I are going to pick the little one up on Sunday. Naomi will be in her own carrier and we'll bring a separate one for the baby bun, so they can each see and smell one another on the ride home. We're going to take it slow and see how she reacts and the personality of the baby bun and work to make sure everybun feels safe and loved because this will be a huge life change for everyone.

It really is. Aww, thank you so much! We're hoping Naomi's laid-back nature and overall curiosity will help her accept the new little one more easily after losing Amos. We'll do the introductions in the kitchen like we did with Amos and Naomi after their neuter and spay since that's neutral territory big enough to fit both cages in side by side. It really depends on how she reacts in the car as to if we try to introduce them that day.
Look at her go! She is flying! I'm so happy to see her happy, I hope the meeting with BB (baby bun) went well (first impressions are important!) and that the bonding process will go on swimmingly! Naomi deserves to have a cute companion to help her with her grief and shenanigans, and the new bunny deserves a loving home.
I'm happy to see Naomi in such a good mood, binkying off every surface like a super bouncy ball! I hope everything goes well with the new baby bun and with enough time, hopefully, a new partner in crime!

Oh, we are too! The pick up and homecoming went very well. I can already tell that baby Apollo is going to keep us on our toes and will absolutely join Naomi in the shenanigans! :)

It was a huge relief seeing her binky like that! Sunday went amazingly well with the pick up and letting them have separate playtime once they decompressed from their car ride. Apollo is settling in well and is extremely friendly, and Naomi is intrigued by him and has been hanging out nearby, so that's a positive bonding sign! :)
