It's been a long week for baby Apollo and she's looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend!
Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

What a cute sleepy baby Apollo is! She has had a really long week, so I hope she gets lots of rest. I'm sure the vet and Mr. Giraffe have both advised her to keep the shenanigans to a minimum too!
Hi Tarosagi! She really just a teeny little munchkin and I'm so happy even with the ridiculous past couple weeks she's had with medical stuff, she's still comfortable enough around us to do a baby bunny flop. Yesterday she finally lost the fur around the tick bite on her ear (due to all the disinfectants to clean the area by me and the vet), so she's rocking a bald patch (not irritated at all, thankfully) that has a dark spot in the very center that's re-growing fur that she lost with the initial tick bite irritation. Apollo was very confused as to why I kept trying to get her to turn around/look away from me. It took me a minute to parse what exactly I was looking at and then exclaim, "Oh, thank god it's fur!" We're really rooting for a week without a vet visit here.
Baby Apollo is completely unphased by all of this and has been mini-chaos bunning it up around here despite Mr. Giraffe, Esq.'s best legal advice. I just gave her her last dose of antibiotic and am waiting the 2 hours to give her some probiotics in a mix of banana baby food, apple sauce, and a bit of powdered alfalfa hay.
Tomorrow she'll be missing those probiotic yum-yums, but will get to start on veggies because she'll be 12 weeks old. Now she won't look at me like I'm playing favorites by only giving Naomi celery.
That's a very relaxed pose you have Miss Apollo! Sprawled all over the food bowl, one footie out! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend, and take care, this heatwave is literally hellish, don't forget to hydrate yourselves!
Hi Mónica! I'm so glad the little munchkin is comfortable enough to do baby bunny flops around us! I had to chuckle about the little paw in the food dish--she only just recently started eating her new, healthy baby bunny pellets recently (we were afraid she'd be on pellet hunger strike because she'd just eat hay, which is good, but doesn't have the added vitamins in the pellets). It really was--we had a 113F heat index one day and have never been so grateful to have working air conditioning in our lives! We also had frozen water bottles at the ready if we were to lose power (thankfully we kept power during the heat wave).
