River once again tried to get behind the entertainment center. This time, the Coke box and a 25 lb box of hay stood in her way. She was so frustrated that her plans were thwarted that she thumped.
Genuine surprise to see me bunny wrangle her back into the living room.
What witchcraft allowed you to know I was there?! I'll be watching you from now on.
Being deaf, I honestly don't think River realizes that thumping produces noise.

Have you considered stapling mesh hardwire cloth/wire to the back of the unit to thwart bunny exploration?
Naawwww, mischievous fluffball! Lucky mum's around to protect you!
You know, that's actually a really good idea! Up until now, we've just relied on a baby gate, but River is so small that she can squeeze through the gap if we're not really careful with its placement. Thanks for the idea! :)
Our little Danger Bun at her finest! It's like she got to the amusement park only to find her favorite ride closed. I was just shocked that she'd thump while trying to be sneaky.
I'll give our little mischief maker a noogie for you! :)
You are welcome. I had to do it keep mine out of the bottom of the couch (don't ask).
Haha yeah, we have use rolled up towels and sheets to keep River from trying to go under the couches. I swear that she will go wherever she can fit--the tighter the spot the better (that's how we discovered that she can fit in the space between the sliding door and the screen).
Hmmmmm as long as doesn't figure out how to open the screen, you should be good. Nose bumps and check rubs to danger thumper and the pres.
Yup, they keep us on our toes around here! :)
Is she really deaf? how does one find this information out?
Hi Priscilla!
Yup, River really is deaf. Here's a link to the post I made about it and how we finally figured it out: http://bunnies-and-sunshine.blogspot.com/2012/06/river-is-not-defectiveshes-handicapable.html
