Thankfully, River only made a quiet 'meep' sound then started purring but even that made the little guy cringe. I'm not sure if it was the surprise of her making noise directly in his ear or if she tickled him in the process but he held his ground and went in for the snuggle. Simon is a patient big brother! :)
