Waiting for Christmas can be exhausting!

Dear Simon and River Bun,
As is my practice, I am sending you this message to see if there are any last minute requests from the two of you that I can bring.
As you can imagine, I am very very busy the next two days so I wanted to take this lull in the sleigh packing to write to you.
Please remember the rules. One, you two and the hoomins must be asleep before midnight so you cannot see me. I am very very shy you know! Second, if it wouldn't be any trouble instead of cookies and milk would it be possible to request a Cheesesteak sandwich about 18 inches long and a half gallon bottle of ice cold root beer? Mrs. Claus would highly disapprove but she's currently not allowed to talk after getting Botox treatment on her face in preparation for our post-Christmas 3-month vacation.
Would you believe she actually allowed me to choose this year's location?! All she said was "You must choose a place south of here!" Being the dutiful husband I indeed complied with her wishes to the letter. However, as you know I do not do well in warm tropical climates (Helpful Elf is still recovering from that concussion from last year) so I indeed found a locale that would suit her requirement of being south while allowing less chafing for me. If you haven't guessed it yet let me tell you; we're going to the South Pole! I am taking Helpful Elf with me and I made him to look like me so if the wife decides to get mad, Helpful Elf can be the stand-in while I go play with my Penguin friends.
Rudolph also says hi and would like to give you two a noogie. Why he insists on being called "Rudi" and speaking with a valley girl accent I have no idea but I think a visit to the vet is required (but don't tell him that, he has sharp horns!)
Anyway, I will close this letter off by saying you two have been very very very good buns this year and I will have many presents for both of you including but not limited to NANAS!
Aww they are so cute when they flop! Don't worry Simon and River, Santa will leave you tons of presents because you have been good buns this year :D Be patient!
Hooray for being on the 'nice' list and getting Christmas 'nanas! We will definitely remind the little human to make you a cheesesteak sammie and have lots of bubbly rootbeer available to help you make it through all of your deliveries (we'll even have enough for Helpful Elf to have a pick-me-up too).
As for last minute requests, it's not so much something for us but we wondered if you could leave a note-card telling people to just be nice to each other when you visit them. Trying to go for peace on earth one house at a time!
You'll have to say hi to the penguins for us! Hope you all have a great (and much needed) vacation!

Making a list and checking it twice to find out which buns are naughty and nice. Simon and River are on notice to be on their best behavior, so no bunny shenanigans so far! :)
