The weather's been all over the place recently, so I think the day or two of unseasonably warmer temps make the plummet into colder ones seem worse. It probably doesn't help that the weird weather is causing them to go into a heavy shed right now, so the little munchkins are all about the snuggles and warmth.
You are completely right and Simon and River agree wholeheartedly. :)
No worries about the purple towels--they still get plenty of lovin' at ground level. They just had to find good substitutes for fun time on the couch!
