Boop!

Amos was very brave and army crawled up to me after I had ankle surgery and the cast was put on. He gently muzzled the cast and licked my pant-leg, so I think he approved of my fashion choice of the green scrub pants.

Helpful tip: Scrub pants are the way to go if you ever need something baggy enough to go over a cast or walking boot and can double as pajamas afterwards.

Sometimes the hay fights back.

Amos thumped because the hay he was eating kept tapping his face.

Rude hay is really a first world bunny problem.  I'm not sure how he's going to get past this. 😔

Bunny shaming.

This is Amos pretending that he didn't just:

  1. Try to trick me into giving him second dinner after I heard big human feed them.
  2. Tried to reach up and eat the Christmas lights that were right next to me as I was cleaning his cage.
  3. Kept trying to hump Naomi's head and side (?) in a dominance display.  We had to separate them for a bit when he chased her across the room nipping at her butt stupidly thinking that Naomi couldn't kick 100% of his ass if she wanted to.
  4. Tried to hop into the trash bag full of funkified bunny litter.
  5. Tried to run off with my latex hay glove right after I finally managed to pull him out of the hay box.

Little dude is lucky he's cute is all I'm sayin'.

A light snack.

[grabs a tuft of hay as big as his head]

What?!

Amos can't have a snack without a protective ring of hay carnage.

A mighty hunger!

We're pretty sure Amos' tummy is a black hole.

Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Amos scored a 2-pointer!

He was very proud of chucking his pine-cone and wood ball into his water dish and didn't want me to take it away to clean it or dry his toys off.  He had his little paws on the rim and was trying to pull it back into his cage.  I had to convince the little fella that he was probably pretty thirsty (given how tea-like his water was) to get him to relinquish his bowl.

All tuckered out.

It's a tough job being Naomi's accountabilibunny!

(Also, proof that Amos does indeed have a tail!  Little fella has a roll of booty fluff that hides it most of the time.)

Vroom! [and other truck noises]

Amos is totally imagining himself in the back of a dump truck going on adventures right now.

Feeling snacky.

Lately, Amos thinks that orchard grass is the best thing ever.  I had to scoot him out of the tiger tent because he just wanted to munch on all the hay that I put in there (as if his hay bag isn't completely full of the same stuff).  Like, little dude, you can eat hay whenever--go run and play!

Treasure hunt!

Never mind that bit of hay stuck to his ear; Amos was totally not just snuffling across the mat looking for wayward pellets!

Totally NOT a distraction!

Amos is desperately trying to give me a nose-bonk so I won't focus on Naomi attempting to weasel her way past the bunny barricade somewhere to my left.

Halt!

Why do I get the feeling that I'm going to have to answer a riddle correctly before I can walk past Amos?

Also, I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be 'banana chip'.

Teenage hoodlum.

[caught in the actAmos Bun, what are you doing?!  You know better than to destroy your toys.

I'm disappointed in myself.
