Capture the ear.

It took her five tries, but River's persistence paid off!

You would think ear cleaning would be easier for lop bunnies, but as soon as they attempt to grab one, they develop a mind of their own and propeller out to be just out of reach.  If they get frustrated enough, they'll switch to trying to capture the other ear.
