River was enjoying a gourmet salad on her picnic with her besties.

Hey, Simon--I'm having a picnic and you're not!

River refused to acknowledge that the only reason she was having a 'picnic' was because I had to clean up the total devastation that was her cage.  In other news, Simon was bunimpressed with how his morning was turning out.

She does what she wants.

Not content to eat in her cage, River insisted on having a picnic in her favorite spot.  Honestly, we're just glad she's eating!

Hoppy 4th of July!

Given that Simon and River are vegetarians, they decided to have a picnic instead of the typical 4th of July barbecue.  Simon is being a good little bunny and eating his greens while River has opted to skip directly to dessert.

The bunnies were slightly disappointed that they didn't get sparklers but given how they're trying to operate the pinwheel, I think we made the right choice.
