Double whammy.

Simon not only got a time-out, he also got major bunny butt (shunning) from River.

Simon:  [wails] I said I was sorry!

River:  😠 [shunning intensifies]

Honestly, given how angry River looks in this pic, Simon should consider himself lucky to be in protective custody.  Time-outs work both ways!

River got early release from bunny jail.  Simon's forgiveness went a long way to ensuring a lenient time-out sentence.

River was not working and playing well with others.  Recidivism was high today because rabbitude was cranked up to 11.  Simon forgave the first episode, but decided to make a point of showing how much fun he was having while little Miss Cranky-Pants was in time-out #2.  Oh, bunnies!

Where'd the weekend go?

Simon and River can't believe that it's Monday already.
They then blamed it on me as though I have control over the passage of time.  I'm now in time-out and have had my couch privileges revoked until further notice.  Bunnies take relaxation seriously.

Siblings.

Sometimes their only purpose is to annoy one another.
I caught River attempting to push Simon over.  I should note that her actions were not completely unprovoked because Simon was forcibly placed in "time-out" earlier.  River is making excellent use of his distracted cleaning frenzy in order to enact her revenge.  Clearly, someone has been reading their Bun Tzu.

I was going through some old videos when I found one of Simon giving bunny kisses to a bunny plushie.  I had picked the little guy up and plonked him next to me to keep him from bickering with his sister, River.  He then decided to prove what a good little bun he was so he could leave "time-out" sooner.  Here's the video:

Simon, way too spun-up waiting for Superbowl Sunday, decided it would be a good idea to tackle River. 
Poor little River didn't even see him coming and ended up with a face full of purple towel.  She got her revenge by binkying pretty hard in front of Simon's cage while he got to ponder exactly what he did wrong to deserve doing time in bunny jail.

Well, at least Simon had the good sense to apologize.  I cringe to think of what pay-back River would come up with if he hadn't.
