A minor kerfluffle.

Naomi was happily flopped under the cage door/ramp taking a nap when Amos thought that he could totally fit under there too.  Amos was overly optimistic.

He also learned that reverse is hard...especially when you're squished between a startled awake Naomi and a door that won't stop trying to give hugs.

Everybun's fluff got ruffled!

D'oh--Wrong way!

I'm not sure even Simon knew where he was trying to go just now.

Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend!  Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Being sneaky.

Despite his best efforts, Simon couldn't get into trouble because the baby gate wasn't what was blocking all the cool stuff behind the new entertainment center.  A huge bag of litter stood in his path, thwarting his sneaky attempt at mischief!  He then had to suffer the indignity of trying to hop backwards without knocking the gate over.  Reverse is not Simon's friend.

Nope, changed my mind!

Simon got half way under the cage door then decided to awkwardly go in reverse rather than just keep crawling forward.  He is not good at hopping backwards.
What?!
Simon does not understand why his solution to the problem is a source of amusement.
You may be wondering why there's a fly swatter on top of the cage.  That, my friends, is our patented spider-killing device.  River won't leave her cage if she spots one (perfectly understandable) and acts as my advanced warning system when her "spidey-senses are tingling".  Spring is hard on arachnophobes.

And what did we learn from this?

It would seem that River is able to fit into a space 2.25 inches wide.  So begins another great adventure...
Until she encountered the non-sliding portion of the sliding glass door...
And then depression set in when she realized that she could go no further and had to turn back...
Only to discover that reverse is not her friend.
Bunnies are ill-equipped to hop backwards.  I laughed way harder than I should have at this.  Even her cheek fur is being smooshed the wrong way!
After her awkward escape from the slider, she was consoled by Simon and all was right with her world again.
