Sunny mornings and mischief.

Simon:  Where's River?!  I just closed my eyes for a minute!

River:  I wonder if I can jump on top of that picture frame...

Time for mischief!

Looks like Danger Bun has gotten off to an early start this morning.

Double trouble.

Simon:  I can't believe they thought this piece of cardboard could stop us.  Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
River:  Well, I'm pretty sure I can fit under there, but you may end up stuck like Winnie the Pooh.

Don't even think about it.

River, I don't want to start the weekend by being grounded!!!
It's hard being an accountabilibunny.

There's a stunt I want to try.  I saw it in a cartoon once; I think I can do it!
(At least that's what I imagine River is thinking while sizing up the leap it would take for her to go from the top of the bunny cave to the back of the entertainment center.)

We're on a list!

Uh, Simon...do you think Santa knows about us getting behind the TV stand?  I think if we end up on the 'Naughty List' that we can get off on a technicality because we didn't really do anything bad while we were back there.

Mistakes were made.

1.  River is not a good accountabilibunny.
2.  Simon should not trust River as a look-out.
3.  Reverse is hard.

Mischief Monday.

Simon attempted to be the voice of reason, but River was having none of it.  Danger Bun wanted to see if she could scale the lamp.  I assumed my super villain role and thwarted her efforts by scooping her up and plonking her back on the ground.  Mischief-maker managed! 

Being sneaky.

Despite his best efforts, Simon couldn't get into trouble because the baby gate wasn't what was blocking all the cool stuff behind the new entertainment center.  A huge bag of litter stood in his path, thwarting his sneaky attempt at mischief!  He then had to suffer the indignity of trying to hop backwards without knocking the gate over.  Reverse is not Simon's friend.

Where's River?

Simon disavows all knowledge of River's whereabouts at the present time.  Just look at his innocent little face an pay no attention to that noise in the corner!

Nope, nothing to see here...

Keep on moving you lookiloo!  We were most definitely not trying to get past the baby gate and get ourselves into trouble.  Definitely not...no siree.

Mischief managed!

River solemnly swears that she's up to no good.  In case you were wondering, this is the face I saw just before River decided that it would be a good idea to jump down onto an unsuspecting Simon's head.  I also just realized that the words "safe and comfortable" are printed on the side of the box Simon was relaxing in prior to River's aerial sneak attack.  Well, as my husband says, "Safety is relative."
