I thought River was up here.
Poor little Simon always gets tricked into hopping up on the couch and when he does, River will hop down at the exact same time.  He's always so confused whenever his playmate just disappears like that.  I swear she makes a game of it and never bothered to tell him the rules!

You'll notice the scoop of oats we're completely ignoring right now even though it is our most favorite treat in the whole wide world.  Good day to you, Madam.  WE SAID GOOD DAY!

But I was here first!

This is River staging a flop-in protest because I scooted her over so I could clean her litter box.  She cranked the drama up to 11 with a flop so hard she almost bounced and then proceeded to use the garbage bag as a pillow.  Oh, bunnies!

Emotional blackmail.

Simon and River think that if they look cute and sad enough, we won't clip their nails this weekend.  I think this pic shows that River has perfected her 'Do we have to?' look.
