Simon is super proud of his new title of Hide-and-Seek Grand Champion.  To be fair, I didn't even know I was playing--I just turned around and Simon had disappeared.  This is how I found the smug little fur-ball.  Of course he chose to hide in the box he's been ignoring for the last 3 months!

This is Simon attempting to convince me that he wasn't just trying to get behind the box fan to sample its vintage 1950s wiring.  He had it on good authority that this rare delicacy is absolutely to die for because its crunchy center tastes like purple.  (Don't worry, he had no chance of actually succeeding in his gastronomic quest.)

It got a bit too quiet, so I went in search of wayward bunnies.  This is how I found them.  I think I'm going to start calling their bunny cave the cuddle cube.

What a day!

River is done for the evening.  The poor little munchkin had to endure a full cage cleaning and having her nails trimmed.  She decided to show us exactly what she thought of our silly human hygiene standards by dramatically flopping in her favorite spot, affectionately known as her 'space ship' (a Ziploc container lined with cloth that prevents her from digging in her litter box).

This Bunny Olympics event came down to a photo finish.  River won by a hare (and I won an honorable mention for my expert utilization of bunny puns).

I felt something on my foot, so I glanced over my shoulder to find I've been caught by River.  She left her little paw on my foot for a bit, so I can only guess she was letting me know that my foot belongs to her now.  Jury's still out on whether she understands that my foot is connected to the rest of me.

On the rare occasions that Simon goes full goofball, I get the feeling River asks herself, "Are we really siblings?"

Simon and River's competitive snuggling game is strong heading into the Bunny Olympics.  They've had 4 years of intense training, so I think there's a good chance that they'll take home the gold.

Simon attempted to be the voice of reason, but River was having none of it.  Danger Bun wanted to see if she could scale the lamp.  I assumed my super villain role and thwarted her efforts by scooping her up and plonking her back on the ground.  Mischief-maker managed!
