When it comes to River thinking that she can defy physics, Simon seems to be saying, "Ah, let her dream a little!"  I don't think River really knows how much her big brother has her back.

In the penalty box.

River was not working and playing well with others.  Recidivism was high today because rabbitude was cranked up to 11.  Simon forgave the first episode, but decided to make a point of showing how much fun he was having while little Miss Cranky-Pants was in time-out #2.  Oh, bunnies!

Hullo!

I figured River giving a sleepy wave to the camera would be a good way to start the week off right.

River was in the middle of grooming Simon when the siren call of a nap took over.  Simon took his role as River's pillow to heart and decided a nap was a great idea!

The best part of waking up...is pellets in my cup!
It would seem my unconventional choice in pellet containers has Simon thinking that 'classic roast coffee' is a fancy name for pellets.

Simon gets into the Halloween spirit by going all zombie-bun while cleaning River.

This makes me happy.

River is a bun on a mission trying to make up for all the perfectly good playtime she lost out on while she was sick.  She played with all the things, did lots of binkies, ran the Bunny 500 and had some serious snuggle time with Simon.  Life is good!

River's perspective on tummy troubles.

Being picked up to get medicine = I order you to unhand me, vile peasant!
Medicine = Yuck!!!  Engage evasive maneuvers!
Smelling like human = Eeeew!
Being offered every favorite food in the house = Duly noted and rejected.
Colicky tummy rubs = I'll take it under advisement.
Heating pad + purple towel = Cozy and feels kinda nice.
Making Simon jealous because I'm getting more attention than he is = Almost worth being sick.

Bunny voting PSA.

Simon J. Bun would like to remind you to register to vote if you haven't already.  He'd also like to say that he's never had a private e-mail server nor has he said rude/racist/sexist things about others...so you can use him as a write-in if you don't like the other presidential candidates.  If nothing else, please vote on your congressional, senatorial and judicial candidates that are up for election this year.

Bunny shaming.

What do we say to the freshly cleaned cage?  Not today.
Simon figured out how to unwind the wires on the clip holding his litter box to the left side of his cage.  He then proceeded to drag it across his cage, spilling litter and poo with a bonus of kicking lots of hay out in the process.  A complete bathroom remodel is hard work!
