She is a sweet girl... Does she notice the shaved paw much? Must be a weird feeling for her. I know it has to be done for their own good, but I feel so bad for Naomi behind that cardboard wall, it feels isolating, but as long as there is a small hint of animosity between her and Apollo, it's the best choice. They still can still smell each other, right? even if they can't see beyond the wall. At least they will get used to each other's scent.
What a nice smooch! Mr. Giraffe has just won himself a new recurring client, he made sure that Apollo was treated with care, dignity, and respect the entire time she was at the vet!
Hi Mónica! She really is a friendly little sweetheart! Thankfully, she doesn't seem to mind the shaved paw and doesn't excessively groom it so we don't have to find a baby bunny cone of shame to keep her away from it.
Yeah, the cardboard wall is the best spur of the moment barrier we could come up with that neither can touch the other through. The front cardboard is only up when the other bun is out and we move it to in front of Apollo's cage when Naomi is out. The rest of the time, there's cardboard and a coke box blocking the area between their cages so they can look out into the living room, just not into the other cage. They can still smell one another on our hands, in the living room, and on their toys (and hear one another doing bunny things) so it isn't complete isolation and they're getting used to each other's scent.

Hi Tarosagi!
Mr. Giraffe is everybun's best friend because he's always there when they need him most. :)
