All I know is that if you gently rub near the edge of River's ears, she will start licking the air and then clean whatever is in front of her face. I tried this on Simon to no effect. His cleaning button remains hidden. He will give kisses if you put your hand under his chin and give him noogies or rub his cheeks. :)

How does that cleaning button work? I wonder if Simon also also has one? try scratching him on his right "shoulder"!
