Basil is the one green that Simon is willing to steal for! He's done it before and as I tried to get it back, he'd turn his head away as I reached for the basil, hop 3 steps, stop, and munch faster as I did a low-speed chase with him around the living room.
I never did get River's basil back, but I did get laugh out of his shenanigans! :)
