This is Simon sulking because I'm cleaning his cage. I had to slide him over to clean that corner because he was still doing his peaceful protest. He only got up to dramatically flop onto his nicely folded purple towel. Well, at least he has a softer place to sulk now. Oh, bunnies!

I love those feetsies in the first pic, against the wall lol. He is such a drama queen... I wonder, if you start cleaning the cage when they are playing outside do they come running to flop inside?
I also wonder if giving Simon a snack after each cleaning would make him excited for his cage cleaning?!
Hi Mónica and Tarosagi!
Oh, no--letting them out while I clean means they know I'm distracted and they try to get up to as many shenanigans as they can. It usually involves trying to hop into the garbage bag and or the wood chip bag to create as big a mess as possible or trying to take the litter scoop and run with it.
Well, he usually gets a bunch of noogies and tummy rubs during the cage clean. He's usually offended enough to refuse a treat afterwards because I took away his poo (meaning he now has to "work" by eating more hay to make sure everybun knows the cage is his) and I re-arranged all of his stuff. Troubling times in the bunny kingdom until he re-claims his territory.
