Even if the bowl hadn't had oats in it, the second she sees you pulling somehting out of her cage, then that something is the most interesting thing in the world!
River is absolutely food and treat motivated so that's definitely a good way to get her to hop out of the way while you clean her cage, if only there was a way to keep her from hopping into her food head first and getting messy! And it looks like she's really scarfing down the oats which is a great too!
Hi Tarosagi! Seriously! So much drama could be avoided if she didn't feel the need to wear her food. It is funny how as she's gotten older, she really took a page out of Simon's book about the whole treat (or food in general) thing. When she was little, there was just way too much exploring to do to be focused on treats. Now, treats have replaced undiscovered country. :)
