Are we still besties?

River looks a bit surprised at getting apology kisses from Simon after he was a bit of a meanie the other day.  All is right with their world again!

After causing a brutal rear-end collision, it's a good thing that Simon has an excellent accident forgiveness policy.

Don't be a meanie.

River was little Miss Prissy-Pants and got time-out for not letting Simon play in the bunny cave.  Here she is apologizing to a sulky Simon bun.  After River gave some heart-felt snuggles and kisses, all was right with Simon's world again.

Looks can be deceiving.

Looking at Simon and River like this you'd never know that just 30 minutes prior they had a fight reminiscent of the OK Corral with tufts of bunny fur tumbling across the living room carpet and two little bunnies circling each other like a cat and dog fight in a cartoon.  Their impromptu rendition of a spaghetti western landed them both in bunny jail.
I then realized that it is really messed up when you're trying not to laugh while stopping a bunny fight because the scene is so comical that you can hardly take it seriously.  Honestly, all that was missing was the cheesy dramatic music!
As acting sheriff of the wild frontier that was our living room, I decided to pardon them.  They proceeded to make this heart-meltingly adorable apology to one another.
Why, bunnies?!  Why can't you just get along?! 

And what do we say...?

This is Simon seconds before he thought it would be a good idea to throw the toy dump truck at River.

After getting scolded for that, Simon decided to go sulk in the Coke box.  My husband, finding Simon's antics amusing, decided to go have a chat with him about why we don't throw our toys.

Simon admits that he wouldn't find it very nice if River threw something at him, so perhaps he was in the wrong by doing that to her.

Simon realizes that he's going to have to "bunny up" and apologize to his sister.  My husband gave him a noogie of encouragement.

Apology offered and accepted!
