River:  Okay, you put your lips around that end and blow.  If you do it right, the shriveled bit will shoot out straight!
Simon:  But why, though?!
River:  Humans are easily amused.

Lol--he's fine! The little dude was just comfy and too lazy to get up to investigate the party favor, so he became extendo-bun. :)
