The way Simon's looking behind you he's definitely scared of something hopefully he can thump the scary thing away and then everyone will be okay, if only River was around since she's a super brave superbun!
That's true, Simon's motto is 'When in doubt, thump it out!' so he would definitely be making some noise to scare the bad thing away. River would end up trying to climb up whatever scary thing it was. The only thing that's ever scared them both was a mobile I made that had snowflakes on it for a Christmas card years ago. Apparently moving cardstock snowflakes are terrifying because they both kept thumping even when I moved it to another room and out of their sight. Needless to say, it didn't get used in the photo shoot a few days later once they'd calmed down.
