The little dude is a big fan of building a strong defensive perimeter for his bunny cave! Flipping his hay container to protect it from invaders was a brilliant tactical move as well.
Amos is just very interested in interior design! Naomi is just copying him and sitting on top of the cardboard box! Are they adapting well to their new environment?
Amos is a very smart boy, not only did he create the perfect vantage point so he can see incoming invaders from all sides but he made sure to protect his hay as well!
I can't wait to see what type of castle sieges Amos and Naomi partake in!
Hi Mónica! He really is, though Naomi is more into bunstruction if her tearing up her box to create a skylight is anything to go by!
They're adjusting pretty well to all of this newness in their lives (both the new living space and each other since they weren't litter mates). They're trusting us enough to come up to us for pets and are starting to learn their names and the command "go in" to herd them back into their cages when playtime's over. Litter box training is pretty hit and miss, but they do at least seem to know to try to keep things contained in their cages or the box in the tiger tent. :)
Hi Tarosagi! He definitely is deliberate in everything he does! He's going to be one to watch when shenanigans are afoot because he thinks things through before doing them.;)
Today they were all about claiming one another's cages while also turning them into part of the Bunny 500 Speedway/obstacle course. When I get a chance, I have some boxes I want to turn into a bunny fort for them. Currently, I'm working on finishing hand-sewing a matching hay bag for Amos like I have in Naomi's cage.
