Simon made quite a show of lining up the box and then crawling through it.  River was otherwise occupied and missed the show, so I clapped and cheered for the little fella.

The rules of the game.

When playing follow-the-leader, it's important to have at least a one coke box following distance.

The rectangle of mystery.

No bun knows how long the Coke box obelisk has existed in the living room or what purpose it may have served to those who erected it.  Perhaps it is a tunnel to the sky?  Clearly, this strange artifact requires further study!

The heart-attack inducing cuteness could not be contained.  The little dude had no idea she was hiding in the box waiting for the perfect moment to 'brighten' his day.

How did this happen?!

The moment of realization that they grew up and their buns are now too big to fit inside the Coke box together.

Blast from the past.

I was going through old pics on my computer and found this one from May 2013.  The little munchkins are ~1.5 years old here.  River was showing off her box climbing prowess to her 'Aunt' while Simon was busy being shy and needed a hug.

It's all fun and games until...

The top flap on the big box came down and Simon felt the need to run for his life.  River saw Simon bolt and looked like she was thinking, "What did I miss?"

After I fixed the box flap, Simon decided that the whole set-up required a safety inspection.  It took him a few minutes to army crawl up to the boxes before deeming them fit to play in again.

River, completely unphased by the box flap drama, immediately hopped up onto the small box to survey her kingdom.  Simon, ever the cautious one, kept circling the boxes to be sure that they didn't eat his sister.

I did that!

River is looking pretty proud of moving the big box all by herself.
In other news, Simon (aka Mr. Thumpypants) is now afraid of the big box because it moved all by itself.

Everybunny has to follow rules.

Taking turns going through the Coke box is important.  It keeps you from getting stuck inside the box at the same time.  Rules work great until...

The little human gives you a tiny Coke box that only River will fit into.  Little humans suck because they don't follow the rules!

I did make it up to Simon by giving him extra noogies and telling him it was an experiment to see if either of them could actually fit through the tiny Coke box.

Uh-oh...

It's the legendary Chinese bunny trap in action!

Just bunny things...

Simon doesn't need to know why sitting in a cardboard box is so awesome, he just knows that it is.

Reverse is hard!

We're not sure what River was thinking when she tried to squeeze herself in there, but watching her throw it into reverse with Simon blocking the way was fairly entertaining.  Bunnies suck at reverse!

It's a boat, it's a cave...it's the best toy ever!  All it takes is a bit of imagination.  I think they're playing "the floor is lava" and River is making up her own rules as she goes along.
