These shoes are mine now, human!  I have graciously decided that you may continue wearing them until we get home.

River takes a moment on our way down the steps to chin Simon's head and mark him as hers.  She's already marked me by getting white fur all over my black jeans...my husband by getting fur on his red fleece jacket...the couch...and basically, anything covered in not-white fabric.  If she can't get fur on it, she'll chin it.  She's very thorough in claiming all she sees as hers.
