Not quite sure if she was just trying to figure out what was on the end table or if she was sizing up a jump. Knowing River, it was probably both.

It's the perfect opportunity for her to test her jumping skills and to explore a new place, plus the un-bunnies aren't there to foil her plans like they did last time, go for it River!
It's because pictures like this that I wonder what kind of shenanigans are crossing her mind. She is unpredictable, will she jump? Will she focus on the shoes? Or will she run? Who knows!
Hi Tarosagi! And she would totally be able to make that jump too given how easily she'd sproing up onto the back of the couch from a sitting position. I've always distracted her from doing it because the top is made of glass and I didn't want to risk her getting hurt. She's light enough to probably not break the glass, but her skidding right off the other side is a distinct possibility!
Hi Mónica! With River, all shenanigans are possible--little munchkin keeps us on our toes! XD
