Well, Big Human better call his boss because he ain't going anywhere without River! On the other hand, at some point she will need to eat, drink or go to the toilet, so Big Human still has a small chance to go on his business trip!
It's a good thing that she's easily distracted by blueberries! As much as River would like to be a little stowaway on Big Human's trip, I don't think she'd be okay with being in the middle of the ocean. Simon would nope out as soon as he heard the seagulls. ;)
