River is just trying to find a safe haven so she won't get barreled over while Simon zooms around the living room.

Dear Simon and River Bun,
I am completing my final preparations and beginning to pack the sleigh, so if you have any last minute requests now is the time to make them.
Please remind your hoomins that I require a very tall frosty mug of root beer and a foot long sandwich with at least 3 types of cured meats, 3 cheeses, and chips on the side. I get mighty hungry, wiggling down chimneys and carrying all those presents!
Remember to make sure EVERYONE is fast asleep, snug as a bug in a rug, before midnight, or I may decide not to show up. I'm very shy!
You two have been very good bunnies and I would certainly want to come visit you and leave you presents, so remember to be asleep...and not that fake closed-eyes-pretend-to-be-sleeping either. I can tell the difference!
We can't really think of anything else we want for Christmas unless you have a cure to this pandemic in your bag. We will make sure to do exactly as instructed because we respect your privacy! We'll make sure the little human makes your Christmas sammy with her home-made rosemary bread to give it a little something special.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas (a quick work day) and a nice, relaxing vacation afterwards!
