Without fail, River will hop into Simon's freshly cleaned litter box to claim it as hers at the first available opportunity. Simon is past being offended and just wants to stage an intervention at this point.
Poor Simon looks so done with this. I feel bad for him, he's a genuinely good fella that doesn't deserve all the anguish that comes with a higher ranking bunny peeing in your territory xd. I don't know if this would work, but what if the second you see River making a run for it you block her way until Simon does his thing in the litterbox? Or doesn't she care if the litterbox has already been used?
Wow, what a power move on River's part, claiming his box for herself! Hopefully Simon can put some River deterrent around his box so that she doesn't try to stake her claim again!
Oh, it makes no difference if he's used it at all. I think she just assumes that if she goes in there the most recently, that it becomes hers. She seems pretty unphased if I pick her up to get her out of there because she assumes she's already won. I do run into the issue of just letting her go in there to avoid a potential accident outside of a cage if she really did need to go and potentially couldn't make it to her own--it's hard to tell with geriatric buns. We're just lucky that Simon just rolls with it now.
I may need to start timing their playtimes to just after I've seen her use her own litter box so she's fresh out of ammo! ;)

Hi Mónica and Tarosagi!
