Those must be some powerful kisses because Naomi is already fast asleep!

Really guys?
Amos and Naomi have the entire room to run and play in, but apparently wherever I'm cleaning is THE place to be. They couldn't wait for me to finally get Naomi's hay bag re-stocked before hopping in for a snuggle session!

Monday buns.
Naomi is binkying into the new week ready to cause some chaos! Amos is ready to hit the snooze button.

Bouncing into the weekend!
Naomi was attempting a leapfrog binky but Amos noped out at the last minute--little fella didn't want to get squished!
Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Totally NOT a distraction!
Amos is desperately trying to give me a nose-bonk so I won't focus on Naomi attempting to weasel her way past the bunny barricade somewhere to my left.
Wednesday, October 1, 2025
Halt!
Why do I get the feeling that I'm going to have to answer a riddle correctly before I can walk past Amos?
Also, I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be 'banana chip'.

Running amuck!
But here she is about to do it again. This was taken just before she sailed past Amos and leapt into his cage to crash into his hay bag. I mean, I guess she's learning to pick a softer target? Yay?
Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe out there (don't go running into things like Naomi) and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Teenage hoodlum.
I'm disappointed in myself.

Testing the perimeter.
There's a door here. Help me figure out how to open it!
Shush, Trippy Peep--I could totally jump over this barrier if I wanted to! I just don't want to right now with the little human watching me.
I could totally make this jump! I wonder what's behind this tiny wall?
Yeah, that's a banister and is why Naomi is never allowed to be left unsupervised at Grandpa's house. Thankfully, a loud clap and a sharp, "No, leave it!" are enough to prevent this particular type of chaos.

Adventure at Grandpa's house!
Taken just after Naomi convinced Amos it was okay to leave his cage.
Zoomies are epic on a fully carpeted floor!
Double binky! I think it's safe to say that the little munchkins had fun today.

Let's go exploring!
Amos was a bit uncertain about leaving his vacation cage at Dad's house. Naomi's kisses helped him pluck up the courage to take that first hop of a grand adventure!

It's been a long week.
Little Amos is all tuckered out, so Naomi is on sentry duty tonight.

Teamwork!
Amos and Naomi are doing their best to open the box of mystery. They also think that thumbs are entirely wasted on humans and that bunnies should have them instead.
Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Thaaanks!
Naomi thinks she's helping me clean cages by trying to eat the wicker basket that all the cleaning supplies are in. Honestly, sacrificing the wicker basket to keep chaos bun distracted from trying to hop into the trash bag again might actually be worth it!
Prior to this, she hopped into Amos' cage and peed over the side of his litter box. Seriously, not a drop of pee hit any litter when she did that. We're talking a lake of bunny pee. She could've used her own litter box but chose chaos instead. She regrets nothing.

Fort Bun.
I'm kinda surprised that they could both fit in there...mostly. Naomi's tail sticking out gave me a chuckle, so I had to share!

Nothing to see here...
Naomi was totally not tearing a hole in the side of the litter bag. You should definitely believe her and not your lying eyes!

Work smarter, not harder.
Naomi kept hopping up onto the hay box trying to get to the hay inside with no success (those flaps are tricky). Meanwhile, Amos just started pulling some wayward hay that was sticking out from the corner of the box. This is Naomi unsuccessfully trying to grab the end of the hay in Amos' mouth while he just eats quicker!
(No worries--I took pity on Naomi and gave her some while I re-filled their hay bags!)
Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! We're going to be visiting with family next week, so we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Tuesday, September 9th.

Sentry duty.
Shhhh--Naomi's sleeping! She won't be woken up on my watch.
Amos is an expert at protecting Naomi and us humans from things and stuff.

Are you seeing this?!
Amos is scandalized that Naomi would use him as a hurdle! Poor little fella hasn't fully accepted yet that it's Naomi's world and we're just living in it.

King of the mountain! 👑
Amos was very proud about hopping into the big hay box all by himself. He wasted no time in rewarding himself with a huge mouthful of hay!

King Bun sighting!
Big human and I saw this little munchkin on the way to our car today. He was so tiny! Seriously, the little fella would've barely come up to Amos' chest. We've never seen a wild bun so young in mid-August.
This concludes the broadcast of the Bun Alert system and we return you to your normally scheduled day.

So serious!
This is my truck. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Look at his face! Amos is just too precious when he's communicating.

My little quilting helpers!
Amos and Naomi have done a great job of taking over the 'quilt helper' role from Simon and River. I'm sure Mom would've tried to feed Amos and Naomi a handful of grapes too if she had gotten to meet them!
Finally got the embroidery inside the hearts completed and the blocks hand sewn together. Now comes a colorful border of Mom's clothing that will have various sea shells embroidered onto them!
Dad sent me Mom's clothing when he was ready and I started deconstructing them February 2, 2022. This is the longest continuous art project and first quilt I've ever done.

Crash test bunny 2
Amos and Naomi's take on Simon and River's epic video. Naomi packs a bit more of a wallop than River, but she did have the good grace to give Amos some apology kisses!

Hotel hoppiness.
The jungle tunnel was Amos' happy place on our weekend getaway.
Amos is hogging the tunnel!
I had to remind Naomi that since Amos couldn't hop on the slippery floor to go exploring, she needed to be nice about letting him get first pick of what toy he wanted to play with.

More weekend shenanigans!
Naturally, it took Naomi no time at to squeeze herself into a spot with lots of important looking wires. No worries--they were left completely intact!
Naomi decided that this spot was her new favorite home away from home. Right next to the bag of bun stuff (toys, food, treats) and using my shoe as a pillow.
You're probably wondering 'Why no shenanigans with Amos?' Your answer is that with all of the slippery floors, the blankets and bunny towels act as an open air bunny jail for the little fella. Amos refuses to walk on the slippery floor so there are no shenanigans he can get up to (which is greatly appreciated because chaos bun was quite a handful and kept trying to go under the air conditioning unit and the chest of drawers with even more wires and less space to coax her out from under there).
