After a 15 minute noogie session, River is offended that she now smells like human and has to clean.  She's giving me an accusing stare like, "You know what you did.  Have you ever considered trying to smell less like human?!"

Whenever the treat ball was in action, Simon would race to be there.  No missed treat opportunities on his watch!

Monday mood.

River is done exploring until she gets more whole-head noogies.

It is cute how she'll shove her entire head into my hand to the point where I'm half rubbing her throat while she bunny purrs away.  She is a trusting little bun!

Do I need to get a mirror?

I rounded the corner, saw River like this and about had a heart attack.  Ears out, nose pointed skyward, and completely flopped on her side...sleeping hard.  Little munchkin had a full belly and was out like a light.

I swear that deaf bunnies are the most well-rested creatures on the planet!

A bun on a mission!

You just know that River was the one who goaded Simon into trying to get behind the lamp stand.  I love how his little tail is horizontal to show his resolve to get into trouble! 😆

That is not where I put the plate of food paste last night.  Let me guess--Mr. Giraffe did that too?

River:  Someone stole my food!

Me:  It was you.  You're standing on it right now.

River:  I'm sure this is Mr. Giraffe's fault somehow.

Since River is mostly blind from cataracts now, we've been working with her to become more comfortable exploring the living room and still be able to find her way back to her cage (I help her in and out of it).  The 'find big human to give him nose-bonks' game, noogies, and a few well-timed banana chips got her to the coffee table.  She seems to feel safest on the towels, so I'll have to find some more for her.  Yay, progress!

The taste of victory!

Simon and River finally conquered the oat container.  The fight was brutal and the bunnies gave no quarter as they annihilated any wayward oats in the vicinity leaving a trail of oat dust gore in their wake.  Truly, a battle to be recorded in the annals of bunny history as the best day ever!

Not quite sure what River was expecting considering how comfy Simon looked before she entered the box.

I also just noticed how River's spots really do match the old carpet while Simon blends with the inside of the coke box.       Lol--they're perfectly camouflaged for their natural environment! 😂

A difference of opinion.

Simon:  [flops] The ball is sooo fun to play with, but now I need a nap!

River:  The ball is stealing Simon's attention from me and must be dealt with.

River:  Yay--I got a banana!!!

Me:  Are you going to take it from my hand or...?

River:  Nope!  Just gonna eat it right here.  Your hand makes the perfect plate.

So much bunny hork and banana goo left behind! 😖  I think she knows I can't eat them anymore, so she's showing off her impressive banana-eating superpowers.

River was napping and I didn't want to disturb her while I cleaned.  When she woke up mid-clean, trusty old Mr. Giraffe had to distract her from trying to go exploring in the trash bag.  Thankfully, giraffe kisses>>>dumpster diving!

Not sure what River was fretting about, but Simon was there to comfort her and give encouragement like the good big brother he was. 💕

Vying for attention.

Scoots McGee and Mr. Giraffe have heard that big human's noogies and tummy rubs are epic, so they're doing their best to gain his attention and see if the rumors are true.  They suspect that the same rules apply to tummy rubs and noogies as the 'get low, get kisses' game.
