I can't believe it worked!

Simon:  Look, River--I'm out! [zooms past her]
River:  I can't believe I fell for the oldest trick in the book!  Why do they have to make treats so darn tasty?

Why didn't I think of that?!

River:  So little human says, "Playtime's over so you have to go back in your cage," and I said, "No, I don't think I will."
Simon:  I want a do-over!

Any minute now...

River was under the mistaken impression that the fan would turn on if she entered a staring contest with it.  She actually got mad enough to thump at it for its refusal to do her bidding.  I mean, how else is she supposed to spread bunny fur throughout the living room?!

You look sleepy.  I'll take first watch. [gives kiss]

Simon really stuck the landing on that flop!  I think even River is impressed that he didn't bounce or roll over.

I love how this pic practically lets you hear River tip-toe across the carpet.  She is not a quiet bun.

A diabolical plan.

Ha!  Revenge is mine!

Not content to have all of the fur I plucked off her be contained in the plastic baggie, River decided that the rest of her shedding fur should be equally distributed across the entire living room.  She did this on purpose (the fan is running in the pic, though the shutter speed makes it look stopped).
If you look closely in the background, you can see that Simon is scandalized by these events along with the baggie full of 2 days worth of River's fluff.

Monday mission!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:  Help make someone's day a little bit better.

Flop!

[drama intensifies]  Somebun ate all of my food!  Only a tummy rub and a second bowl full of pellets with extra candy will make things okay.
Strange that the "pellet thief" strikes at the same time every day.  He had to content himself with just the tummy rub.

Devouring knowledge.

Simon understands that knowledge is power, so he's glad that books are so tasty.  At this rate, he's going to be a world conquering genius in no time!

River has acquired a new favorite place.  It's funny how rotating through their toys automatically makes something old super cool again!

Jurassic bun.

Mr. Giraffe keeps still because he thinks that maybe their visual acuity is based on movement like the T-Rex--they'll lose him if he doesn't move.  But no, not bunnies. You stare at them, and they just stare right back.  And that's when the snuggle attack comes.  Not from the front, but from the side.  The point is, you're bowled over when they start to snuggle you and covered in bunny hork when they finish.
