With Simon claiming the bunny tunnel, River has taken full advantage of the best flopping spot in the room.  Wood floor over slab keeps little bunny bellies nice and cool!

Simon has discovered a new favorite spot where he can relax and have a nap or a snack whenever he wants.  Even his expression says, "You know, this is nice.  I could get used to this!"

Simon won't play.

Simon bun had a bit of a rough Friday with tummy troubles, but is back to his usual happy and hungry self after a few doses of simethicone and a couple of critical care feedings.
River was bummed out at not having somebun to play with and acted as my little helper when I would check up on him.  This shedding season just doesn't seem to want to end (verging on 2 months now)!

River decided that all of her hay NEEDED to be placed in her 'spaceship'/ziploc cozy bunny sleep system/litter-box digging deterrent.  I was making dinner when I heard a ridiculous amount of hay rustling coming from the living room and this is what I saw...

I moved the hay back to where it belonged.  River, being the stubborn little bun that she is, decided to move it all back to her spaceship...two more times.  She's currently waiting until I go to bed before moving it again.  Oh, bunnies!

Simon stays strong and mlems on even after yesterday's events.  The little dude is following his dream of giving River the perfect hare style and won't stop until he's succeeded or has run out of bunny hork.  For all involved, I hope option #1 wins.

No, River's new hare-do does not make her look like Alfalfa from The Little Rascals.  I spent a whole minute making her fur look good!  Why, I'm so offended that I'm seriously considering giving you 'bunny butt' right now.

In search of snuggles.

Sometimes it gets a bit awkward for both parties (one needs to become a contortionist while the other gets whapped in the face with a wayward ear).  Doesn't matter, had snuggles!

A bit possessive.

I noticed Simon giving River the side-eye after she said 'hi' to Mr. Giraffe first.  His response was to hop over and rest his head on Mr. Giraffe's for about a minute as if to say, "Nooo!  He's my giraffe because I snuggle him longer."  Oh, bunny drama!

The bunnies are boycotting Monday because they feel cheated of their weekend due to the constant deluge of rain.  Seriously, at some points it was raining sideways!
