Tunnel bun is on a mission!  It's a good thing her trusty side-kick is guarding the tunnel entrance, otherwise the rest of us might find out what it is she's doing.

Besties.

Even though they have the entire living room to flop in, Simon and River choose to snuggle with Mr. Giraffe.  Simon flopped first so River had to carefully squish herself into the gap to not knock their friend over.

Break time!

River relaxes after doing crossing guard duties for Safety Town.  Meanwhile, Simon frets about needing another run-through because he's a bit of a perfectionist and those giraffes can come out of nowhere! 

Bun traffic control.

This is like the bunny version of Safety Town!  Simon learns to follow road rules like paying attention to the crossing guard so he doesn't get hit by oncoming dump trucks and giraffes.

It'll be okay...right?

River tries to console Simon.  The little guy is worried about how the government shutdown will impact them getting pellets and hay.
In their 6 years of existence, they've now experienced two government shutdowns, which is entirely too many.

Little spud on the run.

Simon looks like a little sweet potato with legs after fluffing out for his winter shed!

Guardians of spring.

The bunnies make sure nothing happens to the baby veggies and herbs the little human is trying to grow.

A minor meltdown.

I saw you put our ice cube in here a while ago, so why is there only water in here now?!
It would seem there's a bit of a knowledge gap in the bunnies' science education concerning changes of state.

Derps of love.

River went in for a snuggle while Simon was mid-derp and this was the result.

A learning experience.

It took a bit to explain that even though 'grandma' broke her arm slipping on a patch of ice, that doesn't mean that all ice is to blame for her fall.  We think the bunnies learned an important lesson about not making sweeping generalizations.

Noogie!

Seriously, Holland lop bunny ears are like a multi-tool attached to their heads.  They're good for giving noogies, hugs, high-fives, salutes, covering their eyes, balancing, communicating like they're mini semi-fore flags, and listening with (except River, who does well enough without)!
